Slate Square Description:
Pack of 4 coasters. The Square Slate coasters are about 4 inch by 4 inch square natural stone. The thickness varies depending on how the stone accepts splitting. The outer edges will not be uniform, straight, or perfect 90 degree corners. Each coaster will have a unique appearance and have it’s own beautiful grain created by spending millions of years in the ground. How the laser engraves on Slate is not by cutting or grooving the stone, but rather by discoloring the surface of the slate which turns it an off-white color from the near black color of the slate. 
 
When you order more than one coaster of the same design, each one will be somewhat unique. The coasters come with attached feet for full padding so that it does not scratch your table. 
 
Custom Design:
We can place almost any design on the coaster of your choice. However, we need to review it to make sure it can be converted into a vector drawing and still produce an image pleasing to the human eye. Any phrase or words are engravable with only a limitation in legibility if too many words are in the design. Start by emailing us at PetrifiedWDWood@gamil.com with your idea and we will let you know the feasibility. If we move forward with a design I will have you order the quantity you want using the “Your Design Here” coaster. If we cannot create it, we will do everything we can to create a design you might like. If ultimately it is not what you are looking for, thank you for letting us try.
